Questions our clients have asked over the years. If you don't find an answer here, please get in touch.
Rehab is short for rehabilitation — residential care that can last anywhere between 28 days and 90 days. It typically takes place in a secure medical facility with detox capability and resident medical staff.
Please get in touch by telephone, WhatsApp, or email and we will schedule the soonest available time. Please note that we see clients by appointment only.
The first session is a Consultation and Assessment. We use evidence-based interventions (including the DSM-5) and have a conversation to better understand the severity of the addiction. We are then able to present possible treatment options. The cost is HK$1,500 for one hour.
Every case is different, and treatment options vary between outpatient and inpatient. Cost largely depends on the client's needs and resources. We have packages for different situations, so accurate costs can only be provided after the initial consultation and assessment.
Yes, clients are required to remain abstinent during the 28-day programme.
No — we have a no-refund policy.
Rehab is when an individual goes abroad for 30, 60, or 90 days to a secure medical facility with detox, resident doctors, and structured group programmes. Our Hong Kong retreats do not provide detox, nor do we have resident medical staff. The retreat is one-to-one and tailor-made — short, intense, and popular with clients who cannot travel abroad for extended periods.
We take each case on an individual basis.
We have a very high success rate with interventions, but we do not issue refunds if one is unsuccessful.
We do not offer medical services directly, but we have a network of preferred medical partners in Hong Kong. If medical care is warranted, we will refer you.
Our core team is in recovery themselves, so they can genuinely understand and empathise. Our programme combines evidence-based theoretical models with ACT and 12-step Facilitation Therapy. We are competitively priced and offer special packages for clients in financial hardship. We are also the only provider in Hong Kong offering intimate recovery retreats, and we provide interventions and sober escorting — coming to clients' homes and businesses if needed.
